Well. Finally. We’re all moved in and I actually feel like a Midland-er now. It only took a couple of months, some extremely painful days of hauling large boxes, and…oh yea…switching Mortgage companies. For those of you that may not have heard, it appears you have to give your first-born, blood samples, and high-security clearances to Wells Fargo Mortgage to even get them to consider a loan. Forget it people, leave the banks and look to the local mortgage companies instead. After we did, we were approved in (no lie here) 4 hours! This after waiting 40 DAYS, and 7 ROUNDS of “we would like more info” from Wells Fargo. Bleh! Yep I’m moving all of my business as soon as possible.
Oh well. Now that we are in Midland it is all back to work and I’m ready to rumble. Look for many more entries shortly now that I’m finally settled in.
