Finally! Christmas is here. This is absolutely my favorite time of year. The kids are anxious (and acting good, most of the time), the wife can’t guess what’s under the tree, and I am snug as a bug knowing that my family is so happy. This year we will be staying near to home, so no long trips with a screaming 7 week old. Thank goodness! Santa has assembled all the toys, has eaten the cookies, and now is enjoying the warm milk on a cold winter’s night…..yum, yum.
Of course every year there is the drama, the family stress, the hectic schedule to run around and see everyone. If you are a parent, you know what I mean, especially when they are young. But always remember that is also what Christmas is about….take comfort in your family, even the ones that drive you crazy, they are the only one’s you have, and they love you regardless.
